Youth Training Orchestras

Youth Training Orchestras is an innovative method developed to address the decline of youth orchestras in America.
The previous youth orchestra method, of 60+ student musicians with 5+ years of serious music study on their instruments, is not possible outside of well-funded major cities. Without musicians able to play the music, orchestras don't form.
Our solution is to use the smaller sibling of the symphony orchestra. Requiring less musicians it is able to exist with only 18 students, and can easily expand. This means that any small town which has these 18 instruments can have a standing youth orchestra.

YTO is comprised of 4 smaller chamber groups. Students rehearse separately in their groups and then come together for the chamber orchestra of 18 musicians.
